About Mauriceville
Mauriceville is a tiny one stoplight town rich in tradition and hometown values with a diverse cultural history. Situated little more than a few miles from the Texas / Louisiana border, Mauriceville brings together the charm of Southwest Louisiana's Cajun Country and the grit of Southeast Texas' Oil Country. We are the Crawfish Capitol of Texas. We are the home of the Mighty Panthers. We are Mauriceville.
Mauriceville Heritage Association, located in Mauriceville, Texas, is a Non-Profit Organization that serves as a catalyst for positive change in the North Orange County region focusing on all populations from youth to senior citizens. We also have a passion for highlighting our unique culture and community through events that help us grow and fellowship to celebrate our town’s heritage.
On behalf of the Mauriceville Heritage Association, we cordially invite you to share our passion by attending our various events and experience first-hand our community’s enthusiasm. The Mauriceville Heritage Association is dedicated to:
-
Developing strong community connections through our annual festival, and provide the property needed for cultural, academic, athletic and agricultural activities
-
Promote positive outcomes for our youth, senior citizens, and families by providing material support to smaller community and family-centered organizations.
-
Enhance our unique strengths as a community
