Mauriceville is a tiny one stoplight town rich in tradition and hometown values with a diverse cultural history.  Situated little more than a few miles from the Texas / Louisiana border, Mauriceville brings together the charm of Southwest Louisiana's Cajun Country and the grit of Southeast Texas' Oil Country.  We are the Crawfish Capitol of Texas. Mauriceville Heritage Association, located in Mauriceville, Texas, is a Non-Profit Organization that serves as a catalyst for positive change in the North Orange County region focusing on all populations from youth to senior citizens.  We also have a passion for highlighting our unique culture and community through events that help us grow and fellowship to celebrate our town’s heritage.
